| I've been meaning to update this journal o' mine ever since my party, the reason I havnt is because i can't find te stupid cable that connects my computer to my camera. I was hoping it would turn up and then i could do a photo update, but no such luck.
Anyway! my party! I just want to say thanks to all of you that made it, I had a really magical time and felt very loved. I hope you guys had some good times too! We managed to get through $2700 worth of alcohol, which is pretty good. But still, we had $4200 worth, so you know.. we could have tried a bit harder. That being said, i wish i tried a little LESS hard, because my memory of the night is almost non-existent. Very embarrassing! At some point the idea that 'hey its my birthday! everyone wants to kiss the birthday boy right?!' must have made its way into my drunken mind. The result being is that.. apparently... i made out with six girls! The really scary thing is i only remember kissing one of them. HAhaha... oh god. So yeah.. thanks for the birthday kisses! sorry if was some kind of drunken sleaze...!

In other news...
I busted my shoulder skateboarding on monday, and while it hurt pretty bad, I'm glad it happened because I got extensions on two major essays. I would totally do it again. My A-C joint is damaged and i have torn some ligaments witht the resulting in my arm in a sling for a week. As far as i am concerned the biggest downside is not being able to do some crazy dancing at the presets on friday night. Im just gonna have to stand there, arm in sling, like a loser.
Oh yeah.. i went to Cody ChesnuTT on friday. Boy was that a weird show. Best part was meeting him though, he complimented me on my dress sense! "hey thats a nice coat man" awesome! | | comments: 21 comments or Leave a comment |

| The tertles afters: oh man. What a thrilling evening! Does everyone hate everyone else now? So much infidelity and general smuttiness. I can't believe Dan Debuf made out with my sister. In fact I can't believe a lot of things that went down that night. I had such a great time. Easily my favourite play afters for sheer wackiness.
Oh and anyone who drank the punch that had the apple in it Ellen, Ivan and I made it. It is called Danger Punch! and it contains the following ingredients:

| I've had quite enough of every second stranger I meet thinking that I am gay. In the past it hasn't annoyed me one little bit. On my trip to South America all fellow backpackers thought I was for some reason, and that was funny - at first.. but as it went on i started to worry. On saturday night this guy "Rainer" would not leave me alone, and cos he was really drunk he forgot 5 minutes later that i wasn't gay, kept hugging me and trying to kiss me. aargh. Again i was able to laugh about that..
the final straw however was the following incident:
Joel, who incidentally is actually gay, works at Holy Sheet! (what a gaylord). I am currently looking for a job, and he found out that someone was leaving holy sheet and that i should apply. I thought it would be great fun to work with one of my best buddies so the other day I went in there and gave the manager my resume. I had a perfectly normal conversation with her about whether i had a car and such things. Joel was working at hte time, and we pretended we didnt know each other.
Joel told me later that once I had left the store the manager threw my resume in the bin without even looking at it and said to joel "I'm sorry joel., I've got nothing against gay people, but that guy was just way too much!"
Weehh teeehhh efff?! I do not understand this comment at all.. i was behaving in a very normal way and dressed pretty conservatively. I am so baffled... why would people think this of me?!
anyway enough is enough... It's time to change. I shall no longer dress in the flamboyant way you are used to. From now on my standard outfit will be something like this:

| I've had lots of people come up to me lately and tell me that there is someone around uni who looks exactly like me, he is my mystery twin. Matt said he had to get a couple of metres range before he realised it wasnt me. I have never actually met him or even seen him though - we are never in the same place at the same time. My theory is that he is me from the future (cos i am going to build a time machine). Tonight my sister found a picture of him. Behold!
What do you think? It is pretty weird because i have a tie and a shirt and pants exactly like that.

| Hello there, ladies.
I am currently on a very sunny island in brazil getting sunburnt and fat from eating too much icecream. I just had to tell you about this little adventure that I had while exploring this island the other day. OK, so Ainslie and I decided to go for a wonder up the beach and then over some rocks and up a mountain thingy. We found this lovely path that lead into a jungle and we saw lots of large birds and butterflies and other jungly things. Eventually we got so high up we could see the house that we were staying at, but the friendly path that we were following was leading us in completely the wrong direction. We came across another path that looked like it was going the right way, but it also looked a little underused and overgrown.
Nevertheless, we followed this path and it turned out to be a bit of a nightmare.. all this cactus plants ripping up our flesh and places where we had to crawl through the thick jungle and generally just beat our way throught the hot sweaty jungle. Eventually we found a path that looked a little more used. Following this path we kept coming across condom wrappers and used condoms and 'ewww' things like that. We were pretty lost at this point, but we saw a couple of old men up ahead and i made the joke that it was probably them that had been leaving the trail of filth.
We walked for a bit further and then a climb up a little hill to get a view and, of course, I am met with the sight of these two 50 year old men, each who was balding and had seen wayy wayyy to much sun masturbating one another. Oh jeez. Ever since, that image has just randomly been popping into my head and stressing me out. I think it has damaged my mind. So Ainslie and I realise at once that we were in the Island regions gay hookup area. This part of the dunes and jungle is GAYSEXLAND, we were lost there and the sun was almost down!!! It was ok though, we got out of there as fast as we could, but not before seeing a man who was making distressingly loud noises and completely in the open taking a crap.

| The Purple Bottle by Animal Collective is the most perfect song I have heard in such a long time. It was one of those songs that at first i didn't really get, but with a few listens it grew on me, and with each new listen i have enjoyed it more and more. It just doesn't get old.
It is such a sweet song, the perfect anthem for having a crush on somebody, which is maybe why i am in love with it so much right now COS IM TOTALLY CRUSHING ON A GERL>!. "gotta crush high, thought i crushed all i can, then I touched your hand". SO lovely! The song has so many layers of percussion guitars and especially voices.. i just love it ok! It wafts through me and causes silly grinning. A quirky boy who wants to be with a quirky girl.

I am no longer having a party this weekend, which is a shame i am sure you will agree, but you know... im a pretty lazy guy. and i have become too keen on the grates. so see you there instead right?!

I am starting to get tremendously excited about travelling with my good buddies Ivan and Ainslie... and Alex too i guess (JK!).
Got Results. They were quite good. I am pleased.
Saturday night was a good night, i got to dress up play in a band and shred my mad guitar skills infront of friends. what fun!
Recently discovered an excellent program called ScummVM which allows me to play all of my old favourite lucasarts games again. Nostalgia central. But i am stuck in day of the tentacle (no WAY!) i can't figure out how to get dwayne the depressed novelty goods salesmen to leave his room so i can take his novelty "bang" gun so i can swap it with the novelty cigar lighter so i can get an a explosive cigar so i can blow up george washington's head so i can replace his false teeth with novelty chattering teeth so that jefferson will use the log he wants to put in the time capsule to start a fire because he thinkks george is cold so that that cold guy will give me his blanket so i can block the chimney causing a distraction allowing me to steal the gold quill so i can give it to red eddison so he can finish making the patented superbattery.
hashaha oh yeah anyone who has played it remember this scene?.
I am officially missing having a girlfriend more than ever before. Sometimes it gets me down. I want a girl so i can touch her bottom like all the time. If i wasn't going travelling i think i would try my darndest to find a female companion this summer. nevermind!

| Having someone else to study with makes all the difference! my sister is currently doing her TEE and together we make studying a little more barable/make each other do worse in our exams.
WE are both so desperate for distraction and liable to procrastination that the slightest little thing can lead to hours of time wastage.
A good example of this is the other day when i opened her door to see if she wanted some tea and i noticed that it was making a squeaky sound. So i managed to locate a tin of oil and fixed it right up. This led to us starting a mission of oiling every single door hinge in the house. It wasnt until about half an hour of this that i asked "what are we doing this for? we both have an exam tomorrow!?" and that led to 5 minutes of hysterical/desperate laughter.
Just now we have come up with a game where we put the phone at the exact middle point between our two rooms and whenever it rings there is an exciting race to see who can answer it.

I have recieved approval from my parents to host a massive party, probably on either friday the 16th or saturday 17th of december. | my phone's inbox became full today, it holds something like 180 messages. So i spent a couple of hours at work reading every single message and hanging on to the ones that meant something special. It was like reliving the last few months of my life, starting back at captain planet rehearsals and going on through the craziness of captain planet, sweet messages from girlfriend, breaking up with girlfriend, exams, exams ending and so on... it was really quite an experience, i laughed, i cried and all that sort of thing.
SO anyway i feel like what has been my group of friends for the last year is kind of in tatters at the moment.. mostly because of many people being away, but i havnt seen "the group" together at all these holidays, whereas last holidays it seemed we were having playdates almost everyday... kind of depressing but also good because i am spending more much needed time with older friends... but yes all that is left of us we must get together and have some fun BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
gosh I cant believe uni goes back so soon.
wow what a boring entry how can i make it better? umm A GIRL KISSED ME at Bastille day and as far as i can tell it was all because i once wore a pink jacket.
